Deborah summered and articled at Martha McCarthy & Company LLP before returning to the firm as an associate. She was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2016.
Deborah holds a J.D. from the University of Western Ontario, Faculty of Law. In law school, she served as Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Western Journal of Legal Studies and represented Western at the Niagara International Moot Court Competition. She also worked as a research assistant to Professor Robert Solomon, the National Director of Legal Policy for Mothers Against Drunk Driving Canada. Before law school, Deborah received B.A. and M.A. degrees in Russian language and literature from the University of Toronto.
Deborah is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocates’ Society, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Family Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association. She is able to assist clients in Russian.
