Called to the Ontario Bar in 2014, Scott practiced as a legal aid clinic lawyer in some of Toronto’s highest-need communities before joining Martha McCarthy & Company LLP as an associate in 2016. He has assisted on cases at the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal and the Federal Court of Canada.
Scott holds an undergraduate degree in political science and philosophy from Simon Fraser University. He received his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Law before undertaking graduate work at Osgoode Hall Law School.
A prairie transplant, Scott takes a thoughtful but pragmatic, results-oriented approach to the practice of all areas of family law.
Scott is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society and the Osgoode Society for Canadian Legal History.
