Shannon is an associate lawyer at Martha McCarthy & Company LLP, where she practises in all areas of family law.
Shannon has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario, including the Ontario Securities Commission and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Shannon was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2011. Prior to joining Martha McCarthy & Company LLP as an associate in 2014, she practised complex commercial litigation at a premier litigation boutique in Toronto.
Shannon holds a J.D. from the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law and a B.A. in History and Philosophy (Great Distinction) from McGill University. She also holds a Diploma in International and European Law from the Université Jean Moulin in Lyon, France. During law school, Shannon represented the University of Toronto at the Arnup Cup trial advocacy competition. After graduating, she clerked for the Honourable Justice Phelan at the Federal Court in Ottawa.
Shannon is a member of the The Advocates’ Society and the Young Advocates’ Standing Committee.
