Erin’s practice is focused on the representation of clients with complex and diverse financial matters arising from separation and divorce, including issues relating to family trusts, privately held companies and other sophisticated property and income issues. She acts to provide advice on marriage contracts and cohabitation agreements, as well as having an active litigation practice in both the court system and in mediation/arbitration. Erin seeks to find practical solutions to complex problems and to assist clients achieve certainty and finality in an expeditious and efficient manner.
Erin is a member of the The Advocates’ Society; the Associate of Family and Conciliation Courts, is an associate member of Ontario Association for Family Mediation and is a Fellow of International Academy of Family Lawyers. She is on the Editorial Board of the Ontario Reports, a presenter at the Mandatory Information Program, sits as a Dispute Resolution Officer in the Superior Court of Justice and acts as a mentor to young lawyers and law students at the OBA and through the University of Windsor and other law schools.
Erin presents regularly at family law conferences, having written papers on various family law topics including expert evidence and trial advocacy.
Erin has practiced exclusively in the area of family law since her call to the Ontario bar in 2003.
