Jessica Grys


Jessica was called to the bar in 2019 after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School. She summered and articled with Martha McCarthy & Company LLP before returning to the firm as an associate. Jessica holds a B.A. from Queen’s University and spent time studying in both Edinburgh and Copenhagen throughout her education.

While at law school, Jessica was proud to be involved with Parkdale Community Legal Services. She was a caseworker in the Social Assistance, Violence and Health division, where she had the opportunity to represent clients at the Social Benefits Tribunal and the Criminal Injuries Compensation Board. As a community legal work student, Jessica focused her attention on organizing young mothers in the Parkdale community for social change.

She also worked with the Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic as part of the Family Court Support Program. In her final year at Osgoode Hall, Jessica participated in the Advanced Children and the Law Workshop, in which she developed her knowledge and understanding of child protection law.

Jessica is a member of the Ontario Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Advocates’ Society.
