Maura O’Sullivan

Prior to joining McCarthy Hansen & Company, Maura practised as a commercial litigator at one of Bay Street’s top firms, assisting clients in high-stakes matters before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Supreme Court of British Columbia, Court of Appeal for Ontario, Federal Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court of Canada. She brings practical experience in complex dispute management, litigating in domestic and international contexts, contractual interpretation, and the unique concerns of high-profile and high-net-worth clients.
In addition to her time before the courts, Maura draws on experience in alternate dispute management, including both statutory and private arbitrations, and is skilled in sensitively navigating cases that concern personal or emotionally charged subject matter.
Maura is admitted to the Ontario Bar. She is a graduate of Carleton University (BA with High Distinction) and holds a combined JD/MBA degree from the Rotman School of Management and University of Toronto School of Law. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, The Advocates’ Society, and the Ontario Bar Association.
