Meghan is a lawyer at McCarthy Hansen & Company LLP, where she practises in all areas of family law. She has appeared before various courts and administrative tribunals in Ontario.
Prior to joining McCarthy Hansen & Company LLP, Meghan spent five years practising complex commercial litigation at a top Bay Street firm, where she played an instrumental role in a number of high-profile cases. Meghan was drawn to family law because she enjoys working closely with clients on the issues that matter most to them. She is a caring, determined advocate who always strives for excellence in her work.
Meghan has a Bachelor of Arts (honours) from Queen’s University and a Master of Global Affairs from the University of Toronto. Meghan’s educational background led her to work with NATO and the RCMP prior to attending law school. Meghan obtained her juris doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2019 and was called to the bar of Ontario in 2020. During law school, Meghan was a Dean’s Fellow for Lisa Dufraimont, a position she earned by achieving the top grade in her class.
Meghan is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Toronto Lawyers Association and The Advocates’ Society.
