Sydney Kohn

Sydney is an Articling Student at McCarthy Hansen & Company LLP. She earned her Juris Doctor from Western University’s Faculty of Law and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University.
Sydney first joined McCarthy Hansen & Company LLP as a summer student, returning for both her first and second year law school summers before commencing her articles with the firm.
During law school, Sydney distinguished herself through her commitment to advocacy. She competed in several advocacy competitions and moots, including the Lenczner Slaght Advocacy Competition in Legal Ethics and Professionalism and the Lerners Moot Competition, where she was a finalist. She also volunteered as a judge for advocacy and moot competitions throughout her second and third years, mentoring fellow students and contributing to the development of their advocacy skills.
