Angela Greenberg is the Chief Legal Talent Officer at McCarthy Hansen & Company LLP, where she leads the firm’s talent, culture and people strategies.
Angela oversees the full talent lifecycle for lawyers, law clerks and administrative professionals, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, professional development and career progression. As part of firm leadership, she aligns talent strategy with the firm’s broader objectives and fosters a high-performing and collaborative culture through active career management and coaching. She is responsible for attracting, developing and retaining professionals across the firm, reinforcing its commitment to excellence through its people.
Prior to her appointment as Chief Legal Talent Officer, Angela served as Director of Legal Personnel and Professional Development at the firm, where she was responsible for the management, recruitment and training of the firm’s lawyers and students. Before joining the firm, Angela was Manager of Professional Development at The Advocates’ Society, where she led the development and delivery of innovative, award-winning professional development programs across Canada, working closely with leading advocates and judges to deliver hands-on litigation skills training. Earlier in her career, she practised family law at a boutique law firm in Toronto.
Angela was called to the Bar in Ontario in 2012. She holds a Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Bachelor of Arts (Great Distinction) from McGill University, and a Certificate in Adult Learning and Development.
