Zechariah was called to the Bar in 2021 after receiving his Juris Doctor (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa.
Zechariah is a dedicated and empathetic advocate who understands the emotional nature of family law disputes. He is committed to providing thoughtful, practical, and comprehensive advice and representation.
In 2022, Zechariah was awarded the John E. VanDuzer Scholarship Award for Family Law for his Master of Laws (Osgoode Hall) research on parental alienation. His Master’s research is published in Canadian Family Law Quarterly, a prominent family law journal. Zechariah received his Master of Laws in 2023.
Prior to law school, Zechariah completed his Honours Bachelor of Science (high distinction, University of Toronto) in human biology and his Master of Science in molecular biology. Here, Zechariah won several awards for high academic achievement, including the Chancellor’s Scholarship and the CIHR Canada Graduate Scholarship, a Canada-wide award for research excellence at the graduate level.
