On November 26th, Martha McCarthy attended at the Parliamentary Committee in Ottawa as a witness to the proposed amendments under Bill C-78. Martha spoke about the Unified Family Court, the importance of labels in family law, and the risk of a presumption of joint custody.

The Rising Stars awards recognize leading lawyers under 40. Heather was acknowledged for her expertise in high conflict, high net-worth divorce litigation, her understanding of corporate and tax law, and her commitment to maintaining a paper-less practice.
