Martha McCarthy, witness to the Standing Committee on Justice and Human Rights on Bill C-78

On November 26th, Martha McCarthy attended at the Parliamentary Committee in Ottawa as a witness to the proposed amendments under Bill C-78. Martha spoke about the Unified Family Court, the importance of labels in family law, and the risk of a presumption of joint custody.

Heather Hansen is a Rising Star!

2018 Lexpert Rising Stars Winner

Kimberly Muio joins our family!

This fall, we welcomed Kimberly Muio to the MMC team. Joanna Radbord successfully argues for amendments to the Family Law Act in favor of adult children with disabilities

Joanna acted as Intervener for the Family Alliance Ontario, Sherbourne Health Centre in the 2017 case, Coates v Watson, successfully challenging provisions of the Family Law Act that previously denied support for adult children with disabilities.
